Strategic ICT Contract Lead

The role of the Strategic ICT Contract Lead is to oversee the management of large-scale ICT contracts, lead complex negotiations, and provide expert guidance to ensure compliance with public sector procurement frameworks.
Main Responsibilities- Establish and manage complex contracts and vendor relationships with large-scale ICT providers, ensuring alignment with organisational goals.
- Support procurement activities, conduct negotiations to maximise value, and identify opportunities for cost savings.
- Monitor vendor performance against service level agreements (SLAs) and contractual obligations, taking proactive measures to address any issues.
- Identify and escalate contract risks, drive continuous process improvement, and implement best practices in contract management.
- Ensure compliance with public sector procurement policies, maintain high standards of probity, and promote a culture of transparency and accountability.
- Provide strategic advice and reports on procurement activities to executives, enabling informed decision-making.
- A relevant tertiary qualification is preferred, demonstrating expertise in contract management or a related field.
- Previous experience within the public sector or related environments is highly advantageous, providing a solid understanding of procurement frameworks and regulations.
- A current Baseline security clearance and ability to obtain a National Police Check are mandatory requirements.
