Overview of the Position

This role presents a wonderful opportunity to be part of an organization that prioritizes its employees, fosters a nurturing atmosphere, and is genuinely committed to the well-being of its staff.

Your main responsibilities will focus on assisting the Lifestyle Team in executing both group and individual lifestyle initiatives aimed at improving the quality of life and wellness of our residents.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Engaging in meaningful conversations and practicing active listening with residents.
  • Participating in various lifestyle activities such as games, arts and crafts, or musical gatherings.
  • Accompanying residents on brief walks or excursions.
  • Aiding with reading, writing, or other lifestyle activities tailored to residents' preferences.
  • Offering emotional support and a caring presence.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • A compassionate and empathetic disposition.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Patience and understanding when engaging with elderly individuals.
  • Respect for cultural diversity and a willingness to learn about the backgrounds of residents.
  • Dependable and punctual.
