At AMES Australasia, we are committed to designing, creating, and efficiently supplying innovative products that enhance the homes, landscapes, and lifestyles of our customers.

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Merchandiser/Sales Representative to join our sales team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for coordinating retail distribution support activities, establishing quality relationships with customers, and developing and conducting AMES Australasia's brand support activities.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent customer service skills, strong relationship management skills, and the ability to work closely with the sales team. Previous experience working in the hardware/garden industry is highly desirable.

As a Merchandiser/Sales Representative, you will have the opportunity to work with a range of innovative products and contribute to the growth and success of our business. Key Responsibilities:

  • Effectively execute business initiatives and merchandising expectations.
  • Grow customer support ability by establishing quality relationships at all levels of business structure.
  • Develop, coordinate, and conduct AMES Australasia's brand support activities, including promotional events and peak customer trading period support.
  • Identify customer training opportunities and conduct applicable sanctioned modular training.

Requirements:

  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Strong relationship management skills.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to work closely with the sales team.
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
  • Physically fit (some manual lifting is required).
