Make a Real Impact in Someone's Life
The Job DescriptionThis role is an opportunity to change lives by helping clients live independently, get involved in their community, and pursue their passions.
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing support and assistance to clients with disabilities, helping them to develop life skills and achieve their goals.
This is a permanent part-time position, working up to 60 hours per fortnight. The role requires flexibility, with a mix of morning, day, afternoon, overnights and weekend shifts.
Your Responsibilities- Help clients try new things and participate in their community.
- Teach life skills and provide personalized care and support.
- Work with behaviour plans to help clients manage challenging behaviours.
- Support clients' families and keep them informed of progress.
- Transport clients to programs and appointments using our van.
- Keep records and administer tasks efficiently.
We're seeking someone who is passionate about making a difference in people's lives. You'll need experience working in the disability sector and be able to work well with others.
You'll also need a current NSW driver's license, be fully COVID-vaccinated, and pass the usual checks (NDISWC, WWCC, First Aid, etc).
