Job Description: We are seeking a Support Worker to join our team. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting and empowering people with disability to live independently and participate fully in their local community.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist clients with activities of daily living, including menu planning, cooking, and cleaning.
  • Support clients with personal care needs and medication assistance.
  • Deliver person-centred programs to support clients in living an active lifestyle and participating in their community.
  • Work with behaviour support plans to utilise positive behaviour strategies.
  • Communicate with families about clients' progress.

Requirements:

  • Passion for making a difference in the lives of people with disability.
  • Positive and energetic attitude.
  • Ability to engage, communicate, and build partnerships with people.
  • Experience in the Disability sector is essential.
  • Currently studying or completed Certificate III or above in Community services is desirable.
