Job Overview

The role of a Technical Support Specialist is critical to ensuring the continued growth and success of our business. As a key member of the team, you will provide exceptional customer service to our clients, resolving technical issues in a timely and professional manner.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical support to existing customers via phone, email, and remote access.
  • Review system updates to maintain a working knowledge of our solutions.
  • Assist with the creation, review, and maintenance of training and support resources.
  • Manage product inventory, pricing, and maintenance.
  • Perform hardware maintenance, replacement, and updates.
  • Support the Trek retail network by completing support requests and managing product inventory.
  • Contribute to the expansion of our customer base through sales prospecting and product demos.
  • Drive key projects across all areas of the business.

Requirements:

  • Telephone-based customer service experience.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • A working knowledge of our software, Microsoft peer-to-peer networking, desktop operating systems, and Office programs.
  • Experience or interest in general IT troubleshooting and SQL software is beneficial.
  • Experience in retail and with retail management systems is an advantage.
  • Project Management experience is a plus.
  • Availability for occasional out-of-hours and weekend support work.
  • Occasional travel may be required.
