Job Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Chief Security Operations Manager to lead our security team in Melbourne, CBD. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for managing a team of security officers and control room operators.

  • Salary: $80,000 - $110,000 per annum (dependent on experience)

Responsibilities
  1. Provide operational support to the facility management team to deliver and exceed service expectations.
  2. Produce high-quality reports and documentation.
  3. Ensure Contractor Compliance through Site Inductions and Review and Process of Correct Access/Work Permits
  4. Have a flexible and focused work ethic.
  5. Be proactive in Safety and Security Risk identification and issue resolution.
  6. Train, guide, and mentor a team of Security Officers
  7. Assess all alarms, incidents, and emergencies and provide the appropriate response.
Requirements
  • Strong customer service skills and the ability to maintain resilience within a fast-paced environment.
  • Understanding of Building/Facilities Management and Contractor Compliance will be highly regarded.
  • Intermediate computer skills and use of Microsoft Office programs
  • Experience using Fire (FIP, EWIS, ASE) and Security Systems (CCTV, Access, DVM) will be highly regarded.
  • Access Control and (BMS) Building Management Systems (previous experience with Honeywell systems will be highly regarded)
  • Excellent interpersonal and verbal/written communication skills
  • Client-centric approach with a positive attitude to change and continuous improvement.
  • Leadership skills, the ability to drive and lead your team.
  • Previous experience as a Chief Warden will be highly regarded.
  • Valid Victorian Security Licence (Control Room Endorsed)
  • Current First Aid Certificate
