At Page Executive, we're excited to partner with a renowned leader in the education sector. We're on the hunt for a Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) who will lead their security strategy and drive business continuity.
About the Role
The CISO will be responsible for developing and implementing an information/cyber security strategy, as well as leading risk and compliance activities. This includes creating and maintaining security policies, standards, procedures, and frameworks that ensure business continuity and resilience. Additionally, the CISO will oversee defense industry security, network segmentation, foreign interference implementation, and physical and cyber awareness training.
Key Responsibilities
This role requires a strategic thinker who can contribute to the development and delivery of business outcomes. Key responsibilities include:
• Developing and implementing the organization's information/cyber security strategy and business continuity planning,
• Leading programs of work such as defense industry security, network segmentation, foreign interference implementation, and physical and cyber awareness training,
• Motivating and developing staff within the CISO team,
• Acting as the escalation point of contact for complex and sensitive issues,
• Planning and recommending the annual operating budget and longer-term capital spending budget,
• Ensuring compliance with physical and cyber security, records management, and reporting requirements.
What You'll Need
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
• Extensive relevant experience in a leadership role managing cyber security, risk, or related security leadership roles,
• Strong people management skills with experience leading small to medium-sized teams across multiple locations,
• Proven ability to prioritize work, meet deadlines, and effectively manage competing projects and end-user needs,
• Outstanding communication, written, and interpersonal skills,
• Ability to engage persuasively with stakeholders, business sponsors, and external partners,
• High-level professional, technical, commercial expertise, and business acumen with experience in contract and budget management.
What We Offer
