Project Engineer Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Project Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in civil engineering and be able to coordinate and administer construction engineering activities.

The successful candidate will work closely with our team to deliver projects that run smoothly, finish on time and make a real difference to the communities we work in.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinating and administering construction engineering activities to ensure projects are delivered in accordance with plans, designs and specifications.
  • Participating in monthly financial reviews and providing cost forecasts against budgets to understand cost to complete.
  • Leading and supporting a strong safety culture.
  • Managing the construction program and implementing mitigating measures to keep the program on track.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent is preferred.
  • Engineering experience on a broad range of civil projects such as road, earthworks, drainage, land division and infrastructure.
  • Sound understanding of the local construction industry and familiarity with contractors, councils and clients.
  • Excellent stakeholder management experience.
