The Role

We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to join our team and drive the success of The Beresford. As the face of this iconic space, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional guest experiences, driving financial growth, and leading a high-performing team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement business strategies to drive revenue growth and improve operational efficiency;
  • Lead a team of hospitality professionals to deliver exceptional guest experiences and maintain high standards of service;
  • Manage venue budgets, forecasts, and financial reports to ensure accurate financial planning and decision-making;
  • Collaborate with the General Manager to develop and implement business plans, strategies, and initiatives;
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including suppliers, partners, and community groups;
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards;
  • Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing team to drive business success;
  • Monitor and improve venue operations, including food and beverage, retail, and events.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in a senior operations or management role in the hospitality industry;
  • Strong business acumen, with a focus on revenue growth, cost control, and operational efficiency;
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a high-performing team;
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions;
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on delivering exceptional guest experiences;
  • Strong knowledge of hospitality industry trends, laws, and regulations;
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to drive business success.
