We are seeking a Speech Pathologist to join our team at St Paul's College, a school that provides education for students with a wide range of special needs. As a Speech Pathologist, you will work with students to help them achieve positive educational and learning outcomes by providing professional expertise and support in communicating more effectively through speech and other forms of communication.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Delivering therapy and support to students in a group-based model alongside teachers
  • Implementing school-wide communication goals
  • Supporting students' communication needs, including assessment, design, and production
  • Liaising with support services and professionals in relation to student communication needs
  • Contributing to Student Support Groups meetings
  • Providing professional development for school staff

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Applied Science (Speech Pathology)
  • First Aid Certificate
  • Working with Children check

Desirable:

  • Knowledge and skills in working with students with disabilities
  • Experience in addressing complex communication needs through implementing communication strategies and Alternative and Augmentative Communication (AAC) technologies
