Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough speech pathology evaluations utilizing appropriate assessment tools and create detailed Health Management Plans.
  • Provide timely assessments and interventions for clients in both outpatient and community settings.
  • Collaborate with clients and stakeholders to develop personalized care plans aimed at achieving client-centered objectives.
  • Identify opportunities for quality improvement from various perspectives, including client satisfaction and organizational standards.
  • Assess the need for additional support services and make relevant referrals to ensure comprehensive care.
  • Engage with a diverse client population presenting a wide range of clinical issues.
  • Participate in team meetings and organizational discussions as necessary.
  • Ensure that the services provided adhere to current best practices and the ethical standards set forth by Speech Pathology Australia.
Qualifications and Skills

To excel in this position, candidates should demonstrate:

  • A degree in Speech Pathology.
  • Active membership with Speech Pathology Australia.
  • Experience in conducting assessments and delivering interventions in speech pathology.
  • The ability to work effectively in both team settings and independently.
  • A commitment to continuous professional growth and a passion for delivering high-quality care.
Additional Information

Successful applicants will need to complete necessary background checks and possess a valid driver’s license for travel between various sites. This role is classified as Grade 2 Speech Pathologist, reflecting the candidate's experience and expertise.
