Clinical Speech Pathologist

Key Responsibilities- Conduct thorough speech pathology evaluations utilizing appropriate assessment tools and create detailed Health Management Plans.
- Provide timely assessments and interventions for clients in both outpatient and community settings.
- Collaborate with clients and stakeholders to develop personalized care plans aimed at achieving client-centered objectives.
- Identify opportunities for quality improvement from various perspectives, including client satisfaction and organizational standards.
- Assess the need for additional support services and make relevant referrals to ensure comprehensive care.
- Engage with a diverse client population presenting a wide range of clinical issues.
- Participate in team meetings and organizational discussions as necessary.
- Ensure that the services provided adhere to current best practices and the ethical standards set forth by Speech Pathology Australia.
To excel in this position, candidates should demonstrate:
- A degree in Speech Pathology.
- Active membership with Speech Pathology Australia.
- Experience in conducting assessments and delivering interventions in speech pathology.
- The ability to work effectively in both team settings and independently.
- A commitment to continuous professional growth and a passion for delivering high-quality care.
Successful applicants will need to complete necessary background checks and possess a valid driver’s license for travel between various sites. This role is classified as Grade 2 Speech Pathologist, reflecting the candidate's experience and expertise.
