We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Speech Pathologist to join our Adult Speech Pathology service at DPV Health. As a Speech Pathologist, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality speech pathology assessments, management, and intervention to adult clients with communication and swallowing difficulties.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive speech pathology assessments using relevant assessment tools and produce detailed Health Management Plans.
- Undertake accurate and timely assessments and interventions to internal and external clients consistent with team and individual scope of practice.
- Develop care plans in collaboration with clients/participants and other stakeholders to work towards client-centred goals.
- Identify and support quality improvement processes from a client, quality, and organisational view.
- Identify need for additional support services with the client/participant in care plans.
- Make appropriate internal and external referrals for group or individual interventions to support a coordinated approach to better health outcomes for the client/participant.
- Work with a wide range of clinical presentations with a diverse client base.
- Attend service meetings, staff meetings, and other organisational meetings as required.
- Ensure the standards of the Speech Pathology service provided are based on current best practice in accordance with relevant evidence-based Speech Pathology research and the Speech Pathology Australia - Code of Ethics.
- Tertiary Qualification in Speech Pathology.
- A practising member of Speech Pathology Australia.
- Skills and experience in Speech Pathology assessment and intervention.
- The ability to work in teams or autonomously.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development, and the drive to provide excellent care to all your clients.
- A supportive and professional interdisciplinary team.
