Job Opportunity: Rigid Driver

As a Rigid Driver, you will have the opportunity to deliver LPG to residential and commercial customers in a leading energy provider. This is a permanent role based in Tamworth or Glen Innes, offering consistent hours and a strong safety-first environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Delivery Excellence: Assist in delivering LPG to customers on time and accurately.
  • Maintenance and Cleaning: Perform general maintenance and cleaning duties in the terminal.
  • Loading and Unloading: Load and/or unload LPG cylinder trucks within and outside of the LPG Bulk Terminal.
  • Cylinder Management: Test and fill cylinders according to Origin Energy's procedures.
  • Safety and Compliance: Participate in safety activities, including HSE meetings, observations, emergency response, incident reporting, and audits.
  • Time Management: Ensure that deliveries are made in an accurate and timely manner as per the daily scheduled requirements.
  • Vehicle Maintenance: Undertake and complete daily/weekly/monthly checks of assigned delivery vehicles and complete appropriate checklists in accordance with Origin Energy Operational Procedures.
  • Hazard Reporting: Report any customer Site Installation Defects or Hazards in the required format.
  • Cylinder Refilling and Retesting: Refill LPG Cylinders of all sizes and retest them according to Origin procedure.
Requirements:
  • A minimum of a HR and DG License is required for this role.
  • Experience adhering to health and safety requirements.
  • Motivated and able to use your own initiative.
  • Good customer service skills.
