
Care and Empowerment Specialist

We are seeking a Support Care Specialist to join our team.
The role involves delivering compassionate care and empowerment to clients through personal support, advocacy, and transportation. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for monitoring clients' well-being and reporting on their progress. You will work collaboratively with other professionals to ensure the highest level of care and support is provided to clients.

Key responsibilities include:
- Supporting clients to develop and maintain independence and advocate for their individual needs.
- Delivering personalized support by assisting clients at mealtimes, personal care, administering medication, and manual handling using various equipment and aids.
- Transporting clients in wheelchair-accessible vehicles.
- Monitoring the well-being of clients and reporting on their progress.
Requirements:
- Experience as a carer or DSP assistant in nursing or aged care.
- A current NSW Driver's License (P2 minimum).
We offer attractive hourly rates, penalty rates, and benefits including:
- $34.59 - $35.67 per hour + super.
- Guaranteed $80,000 FTE earnings when penalty rates are included.
- $100 annual Well-being Allowance.
- Discounted gym membership.
- Opportunity to complete a nationally recognized qualification like Certificate III in Individual Support.
