Empowerment Support Specialist

We are seeking a dedicated individual to support our clients through empowerment and care. This is a permanent part-time position working across group homes.
This role requires a compassionate person who can assist with daily tasks, administer medication, and manual handling. The ideal candidate will have experience as a carer or DSP assistant in nursing or aged care, and possess a current NSW Driver's License (P2 minimum).
In this role, you will be responsible for transporting clients in wheelchair-accessible vehicles and monitoring client well-being. You will also be required to report progress and provide support to enable clients to develop independence and advocate for their needs.
Key Responsibilities:- Supporting clients to develop independence and advocate for their needs.
- Delivering personalised care by assisting with daily tasks, administering medication, and manual handling.
- Transporting clients in wheelchair-accessible vehicles.
- Monitoring client well-being and reporting progress.
- Experience as a carer or DSP assistant in nursing or aged care.
- A current NSW Driver's License (P2 minimum).
