**Job Opportunity**

We are currently seeking an experienced Implementation Manager to join our logistics team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and implementing projects, managing internal stakeholders, and ensuring compliance with regulatory legislations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Active engagement with the sales team and driving the implementation method via analysis of the supply chain model
  • Create network modelling to assist in creating relevant cost models to achieve optimised network outcomes
  • Lead and create onboarding plans and drive overall implementation plans to the highest standards and adopt best practices across Finance, Operations, HR and IT
  • Design project plans and schedules to ensure implementations are completed on time, within budget, and meet client expectations
  • Identify, document and implement operational improvements and continuous improvement strategies
  • Maintain all project plans, adherence to timelines and ensure compliance with Chain of Responsibility (COR) and all other regulatory legislations
  • Provide clear project guidance and close all implementations successfully whilst managing customer and business expectations
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key internal and client stakeholders to ensure awarded scope aligns with implementation solution
  • Identify, document and capitalise on business development and network opportunities
  • Resolve outstanding matters in a timely and efficient manner while ensuring appropriate communication with the customer
  • Manage and transition of customer to account manager covering off Operational, KPI, Meetings, Commercial, I.T and SLA requirements whilst mitigating risk
  • Travel throughout Australia as required to implement new business

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5 years experience in similar role with strong operational background
  • Proven experience in project lead roles for implementations
  • Commercial experience and understanding in logistics
  • Advanced knowledge of Road networks and Regional geographics throughout Australia
  • Ability to work and lead a project team environment whilst working independently
  • Knowledge of COR, load restraint, statutory and regulatory requirements
  • Significant experience managing internal stakeholders within a multi-faceted logistics operation
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Advanced proficiency in project management, Excel and PowerPoint
  • High attention to detail
