Job Opportunity:

We are seeking a highly skilled professional to join our logistics team as a Strategic Logistics Specialist.

This role is part of the core leadership team and will require liaison with customers at all levels both internal and external.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide strategic oversight and management of logistics support systems
  • Integrate and coordinate all logistics activities, including budget planning, system prioritization, and change proposals
  • Oversight, integration, and update of aircraft life cycle management plans and associated activities
  • Mature the stewardship role of business development activities within logistics support systems
  • Ensure the integration of logistics support systems within the broader support framework
  • Prepare, implement, and monitor robust and resilient logistics support strategies and plans

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a business-related field, specifically around logistics and supply chain
  • Demonstrated experience supporting business strategic activities
  • Previous experience working in Defence and/or Defence Industry
  • Familiarity with Australian Defence Force Logistics systems and concepts of logistics support
  • Experience with Foreign Military Sales (FMS) programs and awareness of case management principles is desirable
  • Demonstrated ability to liaise effectively with representatives
