Ecommerce Content Leader

As Editorial Lead, you will oversee the development and implementation of a high-performing content team. This team drives audience growth and revenue through editorial excellence.
You will lead writers, manage freelancers, and collaborate with stakeholders to ensure seamless delivery of content across platforms.
- Align delivery with strategy, overseeing the editorial calendar, delivery cadence, and daily workflow.
- Manage freelance and contributor rosters for maintained output, consistency, and quality.
- Optimize content based on performance data, SEO insights, and editorial best practices.
In this role, you will have direct reports and dotted lines to social producers. You will also represent ecommerce editorial in stakeholder meetings and standups.
Essential Skills and Qualifications- At least 5+ years proven editorial leadership/people management experience in a digital-first environment.
- Excellent people management skills, including extracting the best from a multidisciplinary team, managing performance, and giving clear feedback.
- Demonstrated ability to grow audience and revenue through editorial excellence.
- Broad content expertise across writing, editing, video, and social media.
