Crisis Support Professional
">We are seeking a highly skilled Crisis Support Professional to join our team and contribute to the development of a pioneering crisis support initiative in Queensland.
">The successful candidate will be responsible for providing clinical oversight and risk management within the crisis support space, supporting and mentoring Peer Workers and non-clinical staff, delivering basic mental health triage, and ensuring appropriate referrals for clinical care.
">Key Responsibilities:
">- Provide clinical leadership and guidance to Peer Workers and non-clinical staff.
- Develop and implement effective risk management strategies.
- Deliver high-quality mental health triage services.
- Collaborate closely with emergency services and community providers to ensure seamless continuity of care.
- Maintain strong relationships with service providers to enhance referral pathways and treatment access.
Requirements
">- Degree in Psychology (Honours or Graduate Diploma) and registration with AHPRA.
- Postgraduate qualifications in Clinical Psychology (Masters or Doctorate), or significant progress toward completion.
- Appointment as an Authorised Mental Health Practitioner (AMHP) under the Mental Health Act 2016, or a demonstrated commitment to completing the requirements for appointment.
