Senior Technical Liaison

As a key member of our Customer Engineering team, you will play a critical role in serving as the senior technical liaison between OEMs and representing our customers during new product development programs.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Develop strong working relationships with customer technical counterparts to deliver specialized product technical information, manage product specifications, communicate product change information, conduct complex installation issue resolutions, and facilitate customer requests.
  • Evaluate and ensure products are applied and installed correctly to meet customer system requirements and environments.
  • Apply technical expertise in product, application, and market knowledge to support product selection and equipment design.
  • Lead the translation of customer needs and "voice of the customer" into functional product requirements to provide input on program-related decisions.
  • Engage as a customer/market advocate inside Cummins during participation in new product development programs, design reviews, and product change request processes.
  • Provide support and guidance to influence technical direction within a project team and continue to develop proficiency in areas critical to success in the role.
  • Operate as a recognized specialist in a discipline or product area within the immediate team.

  • In-depth knowledge of power generation technologies.
  • Demonstrated level of relevant work experience, PG, control engineering experience is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Engineering Degree – Electrical, mechanical, or mechatronics (dual degree – electrical and mechanical) highly advantageous.
