Senior Technical Liaison for Power Generation

Job Summary: In this role, you will serve as the senior technical liaison between OEMs and Cummins, representing our customers during new product development programs. You will develop strong working relationships with customer technical counterparts to deliver specialized product technical information, manage product specifications, communicate product change information, conduct complex installation issue resolutions, and facilitate customer requests. Key Responsibilities:
  1. Develop strong working relationships with customer technical counterparts.
  2. Ensure products are applied and installed correctly to meet customer system requirements and environments.
  3. Apply technical expertise in areas of product, application, and market knowledge to support product selection and equipment design.
  4. Lead the translation of customer needs and "voice of the customer" into functional product requirements to provide input on program-related decisions.
  5. Serve as customer/market advocate inside Cummins during participation in new product development programs, design reviews, and product change request processes.
  6. Provide support and guidance to influence technical direction within a project team.
  7. Operate as a recognized specialist in a discipline or product area within the immediate team.
Requirements:
  1. Advanced customer and stakeholder management skills.
  2. Excellent collaboration and teamwork skills.
  3. Good communication skills with an ability to be solution-focused.
  4. Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  5. Detailed-oriented and focused on thorough analysis.
  6. Demonstrated level of relevant work experience, with preference for PG and control engineering experience.
  7. Engineering Degree Electrical, mechanical, or mechatronics (dual degree Electrical and mechanical) highly advantageous.
