Strategic Business Finance Specialist

The primary function of this role is to provide commercial financial insights and analysis that drive business performance.
- Develop expertise to maximise value.
- Identify opportunities for simplification and modernisation.
In this position, you will be responsible for assessing, analysing, and investigating aspects of financial reporting, including understanding variances to the business plan/forecast. You will also provide detailed financial analysis to enable commercial and financial advice on strategic and operational initiatives.
- Exercise strong balance sheet control and understanding through review and sign-off of balance sheet reconciliations.
- Support change initiatives by managing financial impacts, validating/restating numbers, mapping ledger, and taking actions to reduce data gaps.
A successful candidate will possess sound numerical, financial analysis, and modelling skills, with experience in finance and financial services. A degree qualification, ideally CA or CPA, is an advantage.
- Manage multiple deadlines effectively.
- Analyse complex data from multiple sources.
