Commercial Strategist Role

This is an opportunity for a commercially focused professional to contribute to a growing organisation.

The Commercial Analyst will play a pivotal role in shaping and delivering the company's evolving commercial framework, collaborating closely with senior stakeholders to provide strategic insights and analysis.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Conducting comprehensive financial and commercial analyses to inform business decisions and growth initiatives.
  • Developing and implementing data-driven reporting and planning tools, enhancing visibility of key metrics across the business.
  • Partnering with senior stakeholders to provide actionable insights and performance analysis, supporting strategic decision-making and identifying opportunities for expansion.

The ideal candidate will be a fully qualified accountant with approximately 5 years of experience in a commercial finance or business partnering role. Prior experience in the FMCG, retail, or consumer goods sectors is highly regarded.

Advanced Excel skills are essential, exposure to SQL or data visualisation tools advantageous.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a proven ability to engage effectively with both finance and non-finance stakeholders.

Requirements:
  • Fully qualified accountant (CA, CPA, CIMA, or ACCA).
  • Prior experience in the FMCG, retail, or consumer goods sectors.
  • Advanced Excel skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
