Complex Case Specialist

This is a key role in delivering high-quality responses to children, young people, and families experiencing family violence.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage an active caseload of clients with complex needs.
- Mentor and support newer team members, including Social Work student placements.
- Deliver comprehensive services, including screening, triage, assessment, crisis response, service planning, targeted interventions, allocation, and coordinated referrals.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop integrated risk assessments and plans.
- Refer clients to relevant services and provide them with information and support.
To be successful in this role, you will require:
- A Bachelor of Social Work or equivalent qualification as per the mandatory minimum requirements for specialist family violence practitioners.
- Experience, skills, and capabilities in child, youth, and families welfare, particularly working with complex cases.
- Well-developed risk assessment and management skills.
- Understanding of the broader service system referral pathways.
- A valid and current Driver's Licence.
