Complex Claims Specialist

The Case Manager is responsible for managing a portfolio of complex death claims through to closure, while supporting and assisting families and loved ones of deceased members.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading the review and management of death claim distribution through case management to payment.
- Being a first point of contact for claimants, ensuring they have all necessary information and are well-informed about the claim process and progress.
- Maintaining queues under case management, ensuring all outstanding work items are acted upon within service standards.
- Ensuring workflow is maintained at a high standard.
- Identifying any insurance benefits a member may be eligible for and managing relationships with insurers and other third parties to ensure successful assessment of relevant insurance claims.
