Our Melbourne-based team is seeking an experienced Claims Specialist to join our group on a six-month contract. As the initial point of contact for new claims, you will play a key role in setting the strategy and ensuring a smooth journey.

The Job

As a Claims Specialist, you will be responsible for receiving and triaging new commercial property claims, capturing accurate data, and setting customer expectations. You will also manage a portfolio of low complexity claims with a focus on financial and customer outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Receive and triage new commercial property claims, ensuring accurate data capture
  • Set customer expectations and appoint service providers in line with guidelines
  • Manage a portfolio of low complexity claims with a focus on financial and customer outcomes

Requirements

  • Commercial property claims or lodgement experience is essential
  • Experience using claims management software is highly desirable
  • Proven ability to deliver exceptional customer service with strong relationship management and communication skills
  • Demonstrated analytical thinking and attention to detail, with high computer literacy and organisational capability
