Job Title: Insurance Claims Specialist
About the RoleWe are seeking an experienced insurance claims specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for receiving and triaging new commercial property claims, ensuring accurate data capture.
You will set customer expectations and appoint service providers in line with guidelines. Your focus will be on managing a portfolio of low complexity claims with a focus on financial and customer outcomes.
Maintaining compliance with regulatory standards and contributing to continuous improvement is crucial in this position.
Key Responsibilities:- Receive and triage new commercial property claims, ensuring accurate data capture.
- Set customer expectations and appoint service providers in line with guidelines.
- Manage a portfolio of low complexity claims with a focus on financial and customer outcomes.
- Maintain compliance with regulatory standards and contribute to continuous improvement.
- Commercial property claims or lodgement experience is essential.
- Proven ability to deliver exceptional customer service with strong relationship management and communication skills.
- Demonstrated analytical thinking and attention to detail, with high computer literacy and organisational capability.
- Empathetic and culturally aware, with the ability to support diverse customer needs and work effectively in a team environment.
