Job Title: Core Roster Officer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Core Roster Officer to join our team at Warrigal. As a key member of our rostering team, you will be responsible for managing staffing allocations across all our homes.

About the Role:

In this role, you will report to the Roster Team Leader and be responsible for forward planning, developing, and administering daily staff schedules for residential services, in consultation with the relevant Service Manager.

Your key duties will include:

  • Managing staffing allocations across all our homes
  • Developing and administering daily staff schedules for residential services
  • Collaborating with the Roster Team Leader and Service Managers to ensure effective rostering
  • Providing excellent customer service to staff and managers
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A high level of knowledge and experience working in a rostering or scheduling role within a complex, fast-paced, and multidisciplinary 24/7 industry
  • Well-developed capacity to manage competing demands of a busy environment, work to deadlines, and maintain attention to detail
  • A sound working knowledge of Enterprise agreement interpretation and fatigue management principles
  • Extensive knowledge of Rostering, Payroll process, and Time Capture systems, including experience undertaking system administration functions to keep the Rostering system up to date
  • Effective communication skills and the ability to liaise with staff and managers to coordinate shifts
