The Opportunity

As a Sales Representative in Melbourne, you will be responsible for owning the entire sales lifecycle. You will have access to a suite of business-critical SaaS tools and will be tasked with generating, qualifying, and closing new business opportunities within your assigned territory.

You will be closely supported by your Team Lead, along with the SDR and Marketing team(s), to achieve your monthly revenue goals.

Podium's Sales Representatives play a pivotal role in shaping the local business landscape, making interactions simpler and empowering customers to achieve success.

Your Responsibilities
  • SMB + Mid-Market acquisition: close new business deals through solution-based selling
  • Manage the entire sales cycle, from prospecting to deal closure, with assistance from the SDR, CSM, and Marketing team(s)
  • Work closely with your SDR to generate qualified leads
  • Self-source: make outbound calls and emails daily
  • Exceed your monthly revenue target
  • Pipeline management: maintain a healthy pipeline of opportunities and ensure Salesforce is up-to-date
About You

We're looking for someone with 1-2+ years' experience in B2B closing, preferably in a high-velocity tech-sales environment. Proven experience selling to SMBs, particularly in Retail, Auto, Medical, Home Services, and/or Professional Services, is a bonus.

You should have a track record of prospecting into new markets, generating leads, navigating quick sales cycles, and exceeding monthly revenue targets.

A strong presentation and pitching skillset is essential, as is the ability to carry and exceed revenue targets.
