Job Description

Job Title: Human Resources Advisor

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Human Resources Advisor to join our team at Helloworld Group. As a key member of our HR team, you will provide generalist support to our managers and employees on matters relating to workplace relations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide advice and recommendations to managers and employees on company policy, EBA, and Award interpretation.
  • Coach managers on recruitment, performance management, and development, as well as KPI setting matters.
  • Conduct thorough workplace investigations, including report preparation and presentation.
  • Update HR/Payroll systems with current new starter or promotion documentation.
  • Write and update company policy and procedure to reflect workplace practices.
  • Manage workers' compensation and employee case management.
  • Manage and maintain relationships with external organizations, such as EAP, Unions, company lawyers, and government agencies.
  • Liaise with payroll on visa and employee matters.
  • Provide advice on company restructures and procedures.
  • Assist with company inductions.
  • Manage OH&S across sites in conjunction with local representatives.
  • Collate and manage the green folder for the CEO's office.

Key Result Areas:

  • Update company policies and procedures.
  • Implement and control case and risk mitigation strategies.
  • Accurately report and analyze employee data.
  • Correctly interpret Awards and EBA's to minimize disputes across the workplace.

Requirements:

  • A diploma or degree qualification in Human Resources or Industrial Relations (preferred).
  • A minimum of three years' previous experience in a Generalist HR role.
  • A proven track record in working as a business partner or to deliver HR practices.
  • Experience in a medium to large-sized business.
  • Understanding of HR/Payroll across AU and NZ.
  • Good communication skills, both written and oral.
  • The ability to manage conflicting priorities and work in a tactical and agile environment.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
