You will play a vital role in helping clients navigate the complex world of environmental sustainability.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to work with a global award-winning firm, known for their commitment to excellence and innovation. As an ESG Sustainability Expert, you will be responsible for providing assurance and advisory services to clients across various industries.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Provide training and mentoring to teams to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to deliver high-quality services
  • Liaise and report key areas of engagement to stakeholders, including clients and senior management
  • Draft audit/assurance reports and management letters that provide pragmatic and commercial recommendations and business solutions/advice
  • Contribute to meetings and make effective presentations to communicate complex ideas and findings to clients and stakeholders

Desired Experience

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • At least 3 years of advisory or assurance experience, ideally within Professional Services or a related industry
  • A relevant tertiary degree or equivalent, such as engineering, environmental science, or a related field
  • Greenhouse gas auditing experience in schemes such as ENEGA, Emissions Reduction Fund (ERF), and National Greenhouse and Energy Reporting Scheme (NGERS)
  • Certification as a Registered greenhouse gas and energy auditor level 2
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • A sound understanding of emissions, environment, energy compliance and reporting legislations/requirements
  • An understanding of risk management concepts, including mitigation, risk assessment, and remediation
  • Familiarity with the principles of the ISO 31000 Risk Management Standard
