We are currently seeking qualified and experienced site Fitters to join our Installation Teams based at Mount Gambier - South Australia.



Job Overview

This is a unique opportunity to work on a range of diverse and high-profile projects. You will be responsible for project work, site installation and commissioning new equipment and machinery in the automation and construction fields.

Key Responsibilities

  • Read and understand Engineering Drawings
  • Perform fabrication tasks with precision and accuracy
  • Troubleshoot and solve problems with machines and equipment
  • Work independently or as part of a team
  • Travel to other locations when required
  • Work overtime when necessary


Requirements

  • Alice River region due south of Mt Gambier, South Australia preferred however willing to relocate interstate or intrastate from other major cities: Adelaide SA 5000, Brisbane QLD 4000, Melbourne VIC 3000, Perth WA 6000)
  • Have excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Hold EWP and Working at Heights certification
  • Hold a licence to perform dogging or rigging (an advantage)
  • Hold a CN or C6 crane ticket (an advantage)
  • Stainless TIG purge welding experience (an advantage)


Compensation Package

The annual salary for this position is approximately $80,000-$120,000 AUD, depending on your level of experience and qualifications.


You will also have access to excellent working conditions and competitive rates of pay.


Please note that we conduct pre-employment medical examinations which include functional, audiometric and drug and alcohol testing.
