Job Description

Ventia is a leading infrastructure services company operating across Australia and New Zealand, serving clients who own and operate critical assets in local communities.

We are seeking a Strategic Planning Coordinator - Asset Optimization Specialist to join our team. This role will ensure that planned maintenance, refurbishment, repairs, and replacement services are delivered in line with the AGFMA contract and the Agencies' Strategic Asset Management Plans.

This position requires collaboration with various teams, including Operations, Assets, Projects, Planning, Sustainability, and Engineering, as well as Service Delivery Partners, to drive sustainable improvement in corrective maintenance activities. The goal is to deliver cost-effective and sustainable asset management solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Align Maintenance Plans in SAP with the AGFMA contract, Strategic Asset Management Plans, Annual, and Long-Term Service Delivery Plans.
  • Manage changes to Maintenance Plans in SAP as required.
  • Liaise with Operational Planning Teams to dispatch Planned Maintenance workorders to Vendors in accordance with the Maintenance Plan.
  • Implement and manage corrective maintenance processes to ensure proper classification, planning, and execution of corrective maintenance activities.
  • Oversee the quality of corrective maintenance history feedback, including Asset condition and fault history.
  • Collaborate with Service Delivery Partners to ensure accurate identification, quoting, execution, and reporting of corrective maintenance activities.
  • Provide technical advice to internal and external stakeholders on appropriate maintenance strategies for assets under their control.
  • Analyze complex data to support strategic decisions in asset management.
Requirements:
  • Tertiary qualification in Business, Engineering, or Communication (desirable but not essential).
  • Qualifications in risk management (highly regarded).
  • Excellent knowledge and understanding of quality, WHS, Environmental, and risk management systems.
  • Advanced knowledge of relevant standards, regulations, and statutory requirements.
  • Knowledge of computerized maintenance management systems and lifecycle models.

$85,000 - $110,000 per annum, depending on location and experience.
