About This Role

The Principal Project Officer plays a key role in planning, implementing and evaluating strategies, projects and initiatives for Preventive Health SA. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders, including other staff within Preventive Health SA, State Government agencies, non-government organisations and local government.

Key Responsibilities

  • ">
  • Develop and implement evidence-based strategies, projects and initiatives that further the strategic agenda of Preventive Health SA.">
  • Provide expert advice and contribute to the development of policies, reports and strategies.">
  • Work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to achieve project objectives.">
  • Monitor and evaluate project progress, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as needed.">
  • Ensure all projects are delivered on time, within budget and to a high standard.">

Requirements

  • ">
  • A degree in a relevant field, such as public health, health policy or management.">
  • Proven experience in project coordination, planning and evaluation.">
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.">
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.">
  • Highly organized and able to prioritize tasks effectively.">
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and project management tools.">
