The Enterprise Commercial Lead will be accountable for the provision of commercial oversight and management of all commercial, procurement, and contracting activities. They will provide commercial advice and support to two Directors to meet policy and Commonwealth Legislative requirements. The role involves developing business across the Enterprise and professional development and mentoring of Enterprise commercial personnel.
The Enterprise Commercial Lead is also responsible for being the primary point of contact for significant commercial matters related to the sustainment contract and will provide direction and guidance to the Sustainment Contract Manager.
Key Activities:- Identifying, overseeing, co-ordinating, and progressing commercial tasks and activities ensuring completion within specified time frames.
- Ensuring a consistent Commonwealth approach across Sustainment and Acquisition contracts.
- Leading Commercial staff to identify potential commercial impacts to Sustainment from Acquisition activities.
- At least 10 years demonstrated experience in the role description above.
- Extensive experience in the management and oversight of complex Defence Contracts either above or below the client line and expertise in Defence procurement policy and process.
- Demonstrated ability to work closely with clients and other contractors in a tightly integrated team.
