Are you a sales and business development professional ready to take your career to the next level?
As a Sales and Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for expanding our presence in the Australian market, driving sales strategies, and building strong relationships with clients.
We are looking for a strategic thinker with a hunter mentality and strong prospecting skills to join our dynamic team. You will have a proven ability to negotiate and successfully close business deals, while also being able to execute initiatives autonomously and proactively.
The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience in sales and business development of L/S-Band based satellite solutions into key target M2M markets, including Oil & Gas, Utilities, Maritime, Transport. You will also have a strong professional sales and presentation skills, as well as a successful and quantifiable new business sales track record.
Key Responsibilities:- In-depth understanding and execution of the company's go-to-market strategy and team charter to achieve agreed objectives and promote revenue, profitability, and growth.
- Ability to ideate, develop, and execute a sales pipeline that delivers above market growth, while managing priorities and challenges and overcoming them.
- Meet and overachieve revenues and backlog objectives.
- Intimate understanding of market trends, customer segmentation, and competitor activity to determine target customers and sales planning per locations, segments, and service lines.
- Provide market intelligence feedback and support general business planning and execution processes.
- Assess and validate market strategy needs for differentiated global/regional services.
- Define strategic sales initiatives for the company and its affiliates globally, and generate sales leads and close contracts in accordance with set revenue objectives.
- Develop sales pipeline forecasting for existing products and services, along with new ideas for improvement and innovation to influence investment decisions.
- 5+ years' experience in sales and business development of L/S-Band based satellite solutions into key target M2M markets.
- Must have developed new business across Australia.
- Strategic thinker with a hunter mentality and strong prospecting skills.
- Strong professional sales and presentation skills.
- Proven ability to negotiate.
- Successful and quantifiable new business sales track record.
- Ability to execute strategic initiatives and develop and close business autonomously and proactively.
- Ability to design and implement a business development strategy aligned with overall corporate goals.
