About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Business Development Manager to join our sales team. This newly created senior role will focus on developing high-value new business opportunities through the sale of our datasets. The right candidate will be instrumental in driving new business growth and expansion, working closely with the Australian Managing Director and Infopro Digital Automotive executive team to develop and implement challenging but achievable sales and marketing strategies for the Australian territory.

Key Responsibilities

• Responsible for delivering a pure growth model of high-value new business by actively identifying, hunting, and acquiring new opportunities within the Australian market
• Working closely with the Australian Managing Director and Infopro Digital Automotive executive team to develop and implement challenging but achievable sales and marketing strategies for the Australian territory
• Identifying key stakeholders within potential new customers and building long-lasting relationships
• Attending conferences, trade shows, and events to build relationships with industry partners and stay up-to-date with new trends
• Development and delivery of professional proposals and presentations
• Delivery of formal account management programs
• Developing realistic revenue and expense budgets and forecasts with P&L responsibility

Requirements

This role is ideally suited to an experienced professional with a proven track record of success in delivering high-value new business, with a sound understanding of the automotive repair and aftermarket or Automotive Lubricants industry. The successful candidate will have exceptional communication skills, both written and oral (including presentations), outstanding customer relationship skills, and a high level of computer literacy. They will also be able to establish and maintain effective relationships at all levels, with a focus on senior management decision-makers, in a wide range of organisations.
