Job Title: Collections Specialist

Ambitious and enthusiastic collections professional sought to manage a late-stage recoveries portfolio, making and taking a high volume of calls.

Manage a large portfolio of accounts with a focus on resolving customer disputes in a timely manner.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Make contact with customers via phone to negotiate payment arrangements and settlements.
  • Trace skipped accounts to gather new information and communicate with customers.
  • Negotiate with customers to find mutually beneficial resolutions.
  • Work with third-party agents to resolve complex customer issues.
Requirements:
  • At least 1 year of experience in a financial services collections role, with a focus on resolving customer disputes and managing a high-volume portfolio.
  • Proven ability to build rapport with customers and handle objections effectively.
  • Strong analytical, investigative, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; Salesforce experience is a plus.
  • Experience in litigation is highly regarded.
