Debt Recovery Specialist

As a Debt Recovery Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring that policies and procedures are in place to facilitate efficient debt recovery. Your primary objective will be to collaborate with various teams to develop and implement effective strategies for recovering debts, while maintaining compliance with relevant legal frameworks.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement strategic plans for debt recovery, taking into account the legal and regulatory requirements of each case.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and resolve potential obstacles hindering successful debt recovery.
  • Monitor outstanding accounts and initiate timely recovery actions to minimize financial losses.
  • Ensure accurate record-keeping and reporting systems are in place for auditing and review purposes.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Possess a strong understanding of debt collection laws, regulations, and industry best practices.
  • Hold a relevant certification, such as the FNS30420 Certificate III in Mercantile Agents, which includes competencies in debt collection, legal recovery, negotiation, conflict resolution, and leadership.
