Collections Officer

We are seeking a skilled Collections Officer to join our Finance Team in Sydney. This dedicated collections role reports to the Senior Collections Officer and involves managing high volumes of collection calls on overdue accounts.

As a Collections Officer, you will be responsible for recovering aged debts by discussing payment options with clients and negotiating payment plans. You will also assist clients in paying their bills on time and build strong relationships with them.

  • Recover aged debts through effective communication and negotiation with clients.
  • Assist clients in paying their bills on time and develop strong client relationships.
  • Collaborate with external collection agents to ensure debt recovery.
Required Skills & Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • At least 1 year of experience in collections or accounts receivable.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • A proactive approach.
  • Customer-focused mindset.
  • Proficiency in MS Suite, particularly Excel.

The ideal candidate will have meticulous attention to detail, be able to manage time effectively, set priorities, and meet Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
