Dean Of Students - Year 11 & 12

About The Role

The Dean of Students Years 11-12 provides leadership in developing a positive and caring learning environment for students to transition effectively into Secondary School.

They will cultivate a culture that enables students to flourish, overseeing the pastoral care, wellbeing, holistic programs, and academic progress of Year 11-12 students through targeted programs, individualised support, data-informed interventions, and close collaboration with relevant stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead Year 11-12 Learning Community programs, assemblies, and events
  • Lead the VCE program, ensuring alignment with VCAA guidelines and supporting staff in its effective delivery
  • Cultivate relationships with key stakeholders, including Head of Secondary, Assistant Head of Secondary, Director of Staff, and other staff members

Servant And Transformative Leadership

The Dean models servant and transformative leadership in Christian education to support the spiritual, moral, and holistic development of secondary staff and students.

They lead and contribute to the Christian life of the College, including devotions, worship, and the integration of faith and learning across the curriculum and co-curricular life.
