Job Description

We are seeking a qualified Mental Health Nurse to join our multidisciplinary team. As a clinician, you will work on complex cases with individuals who have histories of violent and sexual offending. Your primary responsibility will be to deliver best-practice forensic intervention in a correctional environment.

You will work closely with other professionals to develop individualised treatment plans that address the needs of each client. This may involve comprehensive assessments, clinical interviews, treatment interventions, and preparation of reports for internal and external stakeholders.

As a member of our team, you will have access to ongoing professional development opportunities, including clinical scholarship, research programs, and study leave. You will also receive supervision from senior clinical staff and support on a day-to-day basis.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to be registered as a Mental Health Nurse with the Australian College of Mental Health Nurses. You will also require a current driver's license.
