As a skilled Forensic Mental Health Specialist, you will play a vital role in reducing reoffending and making the community safer.

The successful candidate will be part of a multidisciplinary team delivering best-practice forensic intervention in a correctional environment. You will work on complex cases with individuals who have histories of violent and sexual offending, utilizing your expertise to determine appropriate treatment pathways.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting comprehensive assessments, including risk assessments
  • Delivering clinical interviews to determine individualized treatment plans
  • Implementing evidence-based treatment interventions
  • Preparing treatment reports for internal and external stakeholders

To excel in this role, you will need to possess:

  • Registration as a Psychologist with the Psychology Board of Australia
  • A current driver's license
