Our company is seeking a Project Operations Specialist to work in Sydney. The successful candidate will have a construction degree, 1–2 years of experience, and be ready to transform spaces into something more.

About the role:

  • Coordinate and manage all project-related documentation, including contract management, document control, the scope of works and compliance documentation.
  • Support the Project Managers in coordinating site inspections with subcontractors and clients, requesting quotations and setting up site inductions.
  • Assist in the preparation of project commencement management documents such as dilapidation reports, procurement schedules or scope statements.
  • Prepare, maintain, and issue head contract and subcontractor and supply documents, including supplier agreements, warranties and guarantees, contract annexures and trade letting.
  • Facilitate and process commercial payments including deposit payments, creditor claims and retention invoices.
  • Prepare and compile handover documentation and assist with defects.
  • Monitor progress of program initiatives and update program documentation.
  • Prepare project status reports for project managers and stakeholders, regularly monitoring and updating the project programme.
  • Schedule and attend site, project and stakeholder meetings, minute taking and facilitate communication between the project manager and stakeholders throughout the project life cycle.

About you:

  • You will have a Bachelor of Construction Management or equivalent, and will be highly organised, coordinating various activities and ensuring successful completion.
  • You will have experience in commercial fitout and refurbishment, strong written and verbal communication skills, and be motivated to develop your career within the construction industry.
