Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Operational Project Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management and be able to oversee the delivery and/or enhancement of Intelligent Transport Systems (ITS), Operational Technology (OT) Network infrastructure, CCTV, Radio and other projects.

The successful applicant will be responsible for contributing to the project schedule and activities throughout the project lifecycle, including concept design, planning, planning approval, tender, construction, project milestones/deliverables commissioning and handover.

In this role, you will work closely with the Field Infrastructure Team Lead to provide high quality, confidential project and administrative technical services.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Previous experience as a Technician or Project Support Officer in an operational team where you managed projects
  • Knowledge of networking principles (fibre), contract management & exceptional communication skills both written and verbal
  • Passion for achieving excellence in the delivery of projects in ITS, OT, CCTV and Radio technologies
  • Ability to work autonomously while possessing a great work ethic, providing high quality reports, analytics and identifying continuous improvement opportunities

Benefits:

This role offers a competitive salary range of $108,770.00 - $121,822.00 per annum plus superannuation and leave loading.

Other Information:

This role may require you to work outside of normal business hours, and participate in work onsite, therefore, a valid driving license is an essential requirement for this role.
