As a Quality Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the highest standards of quality are met on large-scale engineering and construction projects.
The Upper South Creek Network Project is a joint venture between leading companies, awarded by Sydney Water as an Engineering, Procurement, and Construction Management (EPCM) project.
This ambitious undertaking features new wastewater pumping stations and gravity carriers, with a focus on safety, digital engineering, and compliance with the latest standards.
About the Role:
You will be responsible for evaluating and inspecting quality systems, processes, and products of delivery contractors and suppliers, including conducting audits and functional inspections.
Additionally, you will monitor and participate in Hold Point (HP), Witness Point (WP), defect walks, and Acceptance Testing inspections to ensure compliance.
Your duties will also include reviewing and verifying delivery contractors' corrective actions for non-conformances, ensuring effectiveness through re-inspections.
You will prepare and present quality performance reports, provide feedback, and collaborate in meetings to resolve quality issues.
Site visits and coordination with stakeholders will also be part of your responsibilities, overseeing quality submissions, material inspections, and overall project quality assurance.
About You:
We are seeking a qualified individual with demonstrated experience as a quality assurance professional for engineering and/or civil construction.
A working knowledge of client standards and specifications is essential, as well as experience in civil construction and Quality Assurance systems.
Intermediate computer literacy – Microsoft Suite – is required, along with a current driver's license.
A highly developed written and verbal communication skill set is crucial for success in this role.
