Key Leadership Position

This role is a pivotal leadership position that supports Centre Directors in achieving outstanding performance and growing into empowered, informed, and ultimately adaptive leaders.

The State Performance Lead works closely with the State Leadership Team and broader support teams to ensure we have the best Centre Directors in every centre, every day.

Your Impact:
  • Empower Centre Directors and teams to drive performance excellence
  • Understand each centre's KPIs and capability needs through data analysis and observation
  • Simplify or remove ineffective management processes to enhance operational efficiency
  • Monitor performance using insights, observations, and data-driven decision making
  • Collaborate with support teams to align resources with centre needs
  • Work with expert services to uphold quality standards and maintain a culture of excellence
  • Support succession planning for Centre Directors and ensure centres meet national quality standards
Requirements:
  • A strategic thinker who can navigate complexity, prioritise tasks, and adapt to changing situations
  • An individual adept at driving business outcomes, analysing data, and formulating strategies to improve centre performance
  • A sound understanding of early childhood education frameworks and policies
  • A degree in Early Childhood Education or related field (preferred)
  • Strong business acumen and ability to evaluate existing knowledge to inform decision making
  • A proven track record of leading high-performing teams and developing talent
  • Valid QLD Working with Children Check Card and current National Police Clearance
  • Current Open Driving License
