Apparel Design Coordinator

Seeking a skilled Design Assistant to bring collections to life. Assist the Apparel Design team across all categories throughout the design process.

The Role:

  • Collaborate with the Apparel Design team to create and update technical sketches using Adobe Illustrator
  • Prepare and maintain range boards and distribute to relevant teams
  • Source trims following designer briefs and maintain accurate BOMs
  • Manage samples by tracking, sending, and organizing
  • Write 'Features and Benefits' copy for the apparel range
  • Support presentation preparation and ensure the design workspace is organized
  • Liaise with external suppliers and coordinate with internal teams to meet business objectives
  • Maintain accurate records with strong attention to detail, particularly in Excel

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Work closely with our Design, Production, Merchandise, Marketing, and Ecommerce teams
  • Connect with international suppliers to contribute to the success of our premium apparel ranges
  • Ensure every detail reflects our signature quality and style

What We Are Looking For:

  • Tertiary qualification in fashion, design, graphics, or a related creative field
  • 1-2 years hands-on experience in a similar role within a fashion retail business
  • Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Microsoft Office, especially Excel
  • Experience managing high workloads and meeting strict deadlines
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data and information management
  • Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
  • A proactive, solution-focused mindset with the ability to work collaboratively across teams
