Job Overview

As a Graphic & Print Designer, you will create commercial graphics applied to product ranges that reflect a unique aesthetic and drive sales growth. This is achieved through collaboration with the design team, tasteful designs, and a strong eye for trend.

Key Responsibilities
  • Identify, interpret, and implement graphic trends using global markets to add value through graphic design and sales.
  • Visually articulate and effectively communicate the graphic direction for the season.
  • Present graphic trend forecasts to stakeholders with supporting evidence.
  • Maintain strong aesthetic taste and stay ahead of commercial trend directions.
  • Interpret range architecture to create commercial artwork across ranges reflecting your personal style.
  • Brief and coordinate with overseas designers to ensure coordinated outcomes.
  • Create desirable graphics in line with market needs.
  • Demonstrate a thorough understanding of product materials and construction.
Requirements
  • 5+ years' experience as a Graphic Designer in apparel (print or graphic design for textiles, yardages, and placement prints).
  • Graphic Design degree or similar.
  • Experience in apparel graphic design for menswear, womenswear, or children's wear is preferable.
  • High proficiency in Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign.
  • Strong ability to forecast and implement commercial trends.
  • Ability to work confidently and autonomously with key stakeholders in merchandise and design.
  • Excellent technical skills in Illustrator and Photoshop.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.
  • Confident presentation skills.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Effective time management and ability to plan and prioritize workload.
